The kit had the habitual Matchbox downside of deeply engraved panel lines and even worse, wings that were hinged and foldable. I reduced the panel lines by rubbing down with wet-and-dry abrasive paper. Folding wings fixed folded with an aftermarket hinge detail set are fine but in the absence of one I glued mine unfolded and filled the gaps.
No Japanese precision here but it was affordable to a newly-married and financially challenged modeler, provided a good weekend kit-bash and actually looks quite well in the cabinet.
