Subject: Macchi M.C.200 Saetta

A product of the late 1960's, the kit, although rather crude compared to more modern products, shows the lines of the Saetta convincingly. The panel lines are raised but very restrained and the fit of the parts was excellent. As usual with kits of this era, you can see from the cockpit to the ground through the wheel wells. However, the trailing edges are fine and a little effort and some plastic card results in a pleasing end product.
The mottling was done using a cut-down brush.
