If, in 1987, you wanted a kit of the piston-engined Provost in any scale, this was the only choice and to this day, to my knowledge, still is. Matchbox produced worse but the trailing edges are thick, the control surface corrugation is overdone and the canopy framing is heavy! However, it does capture the shape and 'sit' of the aircraft well and no filler was required. The decals were excellent.
